Narada Myers'
Hip Hop
Narada Myers’ passion for hip hop dance ignited at the tender age of 8. In 2013, Narada made the bold move to Los Angeles, where he joined the renowned Academy of Villains and later became a member of Blacklisted. After making his mark with these influential community teams, Narada was featured in high-energy music videos for artists like Hayley Kiyoko. Driven by a profound sense of purpose, Narada now dedicates himself to teaching and inspiring the next generation of dancers.

Camille Boggs
Ballet, Contemporary
Camille has trained with ballet’s best at Cincinnati Ballet and BalletMet. She’s earned multiple merit scholarships and studied under top-tier instructors like Sarah Hairston Berkeley and Maria Torija. Her summers have been a whirlwind of auditions and intensives from Pacific Northwest Ballet to Houston Ballet Academy. Onstage, she’s dazzled audiences in roles like Swanhilda in Coppélia, the Third Odalisque in Le Corsaire, and a moody soloist in The Raven. Beyond being a finalist at Youth America Grand Prix multiple times, she’s spent 14 years mastering tap, jazz, and contemporary—and has even choreographed for stages of her own. She teaches with just as much passion as she performs!

Sierra Barnett
Jazz, Tap, and Latin
Sierra is a Passe original and so excited to be home! After graduation she went on to train at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA and received her bachelor’s in modern dance alongside a bachelor’s in live arts management. She now lives in New York City with her husband and cat where she works as an Administrative Coordinator for Vineyard Manhattan church. She also performs and choreographs at regional theatres across the country and continues to audition for Broadway any chance she gets.

Andrea Parks
Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop
Andrea won her first regional award in central Ohio dancing to a tune entitled “I’m Cute, Yes It’s True!” The trophy was taller than she was at five years old! Andrea has won several national championships in both individual and team placements. Andrea chooses Christian and socially poignant platforms in which she conveys beautiful stories. Her passion for dance has allowed her to minister around the globe and has touched the hearts of many across the nation.

Hunter Minor
Musical Theater
Hunter graduated from Wright State University and is originally from Pickerington, Ohio and a PDC alumni. Minor can be found in every nook and cranny in the Columbus area. He teaches with Columbus Academy and is the Outreach Coordinator with Columbus Children’s Theatre. He also teaches private voice, acting, piano, and dance lessons. He’s been seen in Newsies (Jack Kelly), Addams Family (Gomez Addams), Spring Awakening (Hanschen), A Chorus Line (Mark), Angels in America (Louis), and many others.

Rachel Fish
Jazz, Contemporary
Rachel graduated with a BA in Public Relations and a minor in Dance from Otterbein University, in which she had the opportunity of choreographing and performing in a number of dance and theatre productions under the direction of Stella Hiatt Kane. These include but are not limited to Chicago, The Pajama Game, and Singin' In the Rain, along with various featured roles in concert dance productions. Rachel is currently a resident dance instructor and choreographer in the Columbus area for both dance and theatre, as well as a judge and master class teacher for Groove Dance Competitions.

Trigno
Hip Hop
Daniel Turnbo. Stage name "TrigNO". EMCEE, Recording Artist, Dancer, Choreographer, Songwriter & DJ. Born and raised in Columbus Ohio on the date of February 25th, 1993. Dance style is Urban; Funk & Hip-Hop (Popping, Locking, Street Jazz, KRUMP and House). Also studied styles such as West African, Swing and many others. Mainly known for winning street dance competitions around the US & teaching in the school systems/universities.
FAQs
When and where? This year’s intensive will take place at Passe Dance Center on Monday, July 28th - Thursday, July 31st fome 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
Will there be breaks? Students will have an opportunity in between classes to snack and refuel. Please make sure your dancer has plenty of water and healthy snacks.
Do I have to have dance experience to take one of the Intensives? Yes. Dancers should have some level of experience before taking an intensive week, however, a competitive level of experience is not required.
Do I have to take all of the styles? We would love for all dancers to take every class no matter what their focus is. This is the perfect opportunity to learn new styles and have fun while doing it.
What if I don’t have tap shoes and don’t plan on taking tap during the season? Reach out to the studio with any questions about shoes. We are more than happy to let your dancer borrow a pair of shoes to get them through the intensive.
Do I have to take the intensives to be considered for the competition team? You do not need to be a part of intensive week in order to audition for the competition team. However, this is a great way for us to get to know your dancer and train them in our studio.
Dress Code
Dancer can be in any dance apparel for all classes except ballet. During ballet, female dancers should wear a black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, and have their hair in a bun. Male ballet dancers should wear black pants, a white tee shirt, and black ballet shoes. Socks are permitted for contemporary/lyrical. Please have a clean pair of tennis shoes for hip hop (shoes not worn outside).

Register Now! Space is limited based on studio size. Please reserve your spot as soon as possible. Dancers will be split the first day of the intensive, based on age.
